We are about a month away from the start of fall classes at Spalding on Aug. 24, and we couldn’t be more excited for the safe reopening of our campus. This year, in particular, after all our country has gone through, we are energized and inspired by our incoming first-year and returning students, and we can’t wait for your arrival.

If not for the closure of campus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Black Professional Nurses Alliance (BPNA) would have been holding its inaugural Juneteenth conference on Friday — capping off a meaningful first year for one of Spalding’s newest Recognized Student Organizations.

Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) Secretary Eric Friedlander announced Wednesday, June 17 that Gov. Andy Beshear has appointed Marta Miranda-Straub – an adjunct faculty member in the Spalding School of Social Work – to be the new Commissioner of the Cabinet’s Department for Community Based Services (DCBS).
