Class of 1970 Golden Reunion

The 50-Year Golden Reunion of the Spalding University Class of 1970 runs from Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, 2020. Reunion events are part of our 2020 Founders’ Day Weekend Celebration and the official beginning of our centennial year honoring the university’s presence in downtown Louisville and historic connection to the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. Spalding is thriving and bursting with energy so we look forward to sharing its good news and our fond memories with one another.

Whether a graduate of Spalding College or Nazareth College in Bardstown, we hope you will join us for a fun and exciting virtual weekend celebrating your times together 50 years ago and the impact that Spalding University has had on your lives since. Our current plan for the weekend includes Mass with the Archbishop of Louisville on Sunday at 11 AM, followed by a Class of 1970 Medallion Ceremony, and a virtual brunch with Spalding University President Tori Murden McClure and all your classmates. Our first ever Alumni College, a series of educational and entertaining courses (all around an hour in length), will also be hosted by Spalding faculty this weekend.  Classes will include subjects from our nursing, art, criminal justice, liberal studies, and creative writing programs.
